We have six new Volunteer Pathways for 2024!
Are you passionate about creating inclusive spaces where everyone, regardless of ability, can enjoy fitness and leisure activities? At Tailored Leisure, we're on a mission to make that a reality, and we're calling for volunteers like you to join us in our journey!
Tailored Leisure is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) run by disabled individuals, for disabled individuals. We believe that everyone deserves access to fitness and leisure opportunities that cater to their needs and preferences. That's why we've developed six unique volunteer pathways, each offering a chance to contribute your skills and enthusiasm towards our cause.
Access Champions
Are you passionate about breaking down barriers and creating accessible environments? Join our Access Champions pathway to advocate for inclusive facilities and services in the fitness and leisure industry.
Friendly Face
Do you have a knack for making people feel welcome and included? Become a Friendly Face volunteer and help create a warm and inviting atmosphere at our classes and activities.
Creative Young Writer
Are you a wordsmith with a passion for storytelling? Use your writing skills to advocate for your local community.
Creative Young Artist
Express your creativity through art and design as a Creative Young Artist volunteer. Help us visually communicate our message of inclusivity and diversity through engaging artwork and graphics.
Community Voice
Do you have a strong voice and a desire to make a difference in your community? Join our Community Voice pathway to advocate for the needs and rights of disabled individuals in the realm of fitness and leisure.
Tailored Allies
Allies play a crucial role in supporting and amplifying the voices of marginalized communities. As a Tailored Ally volunteer, you'll stand in solidarity with disabled individuals and work towards creating a more inclusive society.
No matter which pathway you choose, you'll be making a meaningful impact on the lives of disabled individuals by helping them access the fitness and leisure opportunities they deserve.
Volunteer Streams
We have three Volunteer Streams that our volunteers fall under.
They are:
Youth (16-18)
Young Person (18-25)
Adult (25+)
Unfortunately, we cannot currently accept volunteers who are younger than 16 years old. However, we hope to open up a Junior (13-16) Volunteer Stream in the future! Keep an eye on our social media and website for updates!
